Cartridge World Recycles Ink Cartridges

One way you can reduce pollution is to recycle ink cartridges instead of throwing them away.

Did you know?

  • It takes a gallon of oil to make a new laser cartridge
  • In North America, over 350 million cartridges are thrown out each year
  • It can take as long as 450 years for a cartridge to decompose in a landfill

You can make a difference for the environment and a charity of choice by getting involved with Cartridge World's ink cartridge recycling program. Here is more information.

Charity that help reduce our landfills

We throw away a lot of things that can be used by people in need, and these perfectly usable stuff fill up our landfills. This issue is also a sanitation problem and can be reduced. Many old books are thrown away and can be used by people in developing nations. Books for Africa collects book to distribute in countries in Africa, and here is the link of what they accept and what they don't.

The Flush Campaign

Hello, my name is Gaurav Bhatia and I have started the Flush Campaign, an initiative to collect in-kind donations of hygiene items for homeless shelters, refugee centers, and other nonprofits that are looking for such supplies. The hygiene products in need depend on the charity, but tend to range from toothbrushes and deodorant to toilet paper and shampoo. Here is a list of of groups that are requesting such contributions:

The Global Soap Project recovers soap from hotels, reprocesses it into new bards, and distributes it to vulnerable populations around the world.

The mission of Genesis Shelter is to provide an environment that allows homeless newborns to grow and develop in a nurturing and healthy surrounding.

You can help Genesis Shelter by collecting baby wipes, bath towels, toilet paper, and other supplies on the wish list, which is on the

The Action Not Words Project, Inc. was initiated to answer the call of those struggling simply to survive. It’s not only in the United States, but also around the globe where many families:

· Go to bed each night hungry

· Regularly don tattered clothing

· Cannot find safe and adequate shelter

You can help Veronica's House by collecting laundry supplies, bathroom items, or things on the website's wish list.

If there are any questions about the needs of the organizations, you can e-mail me at gbhatia2000@gmail.com or contact the individual agencies.
